As a social media specialist at BNG Team, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and monitoring of the social media strategy for all BNG brands.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Create and maintain content calendars for all BNG brands
  • Administer, gather, and schedule engaging content that increases followers, likes, impressions, traffic and conversions on all social media platforms
  • Generate, edit, and publish content and graphics while ensuring social branding and voice are consistent with brand standards
  • Compile and analyze data and report on the success of campaigns allowing for continuous improvement
  • Understand social listening tools and responds to all comments on posts in a timely manner
  • Work with project managers on social media strategies and initiatives in addition to collaborating with the marketing manager and other team members to get projects completed on time and within scope
  • Partner with cross-departmental managers to understand and assist with social media needs
  • Perform quality assurance testing on social media projects
  • Photograph and create graphics for social media posts
  • Work with Asana software to track daily tasks and communication status updates
  • Document & promote internal events for all BNG brands
  • Maintains and pursues an active involvement in keeping up to date on social media trends and general marketing best practices

Your skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing and one year experience working in a professional marketing or similar setting, OR
  • 5+ years of experience in social media marketing
  • Prior experience working in a variety of social media platforms required
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with active listening ability and editing skills
  • Excellent organization and prioritization skills with proven ability to be highly adaptable to work through ambiguity in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong visual design expertise and experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop & Illustrator) and Canva
  • Understanding of and able to interpret Google Analytics
  • Proven ability to understand and execute Story Brand concepts
  • Highly motivated, dedicated, and dependable self-starter with a focus on completing projects in timely manner, within scope, and upholding the standard of excellence
